By now, you’ve probably heard that some of our coffee beans that we recently used throughout our shops worldwide were not sourced from fair trade retailers and growers.
For this, we cannot apologize enough. As you know, Java Time has built itself on the idea of only using fair trade and organic products in all of our cafes and retailers around the world. There is no excuse for breaking this commitment to you, and, for that, we apologize.
We can only hope that we have not lost you as our partner and hope you will come back to one of our over 1,200 tables worldwide to share a cup with us. It is still waiting, and we can guarantee it is better than ever. We have renewed our partnership with several fair-trade coffee suppliers, including Equal Exchange (@EqExCoop), Higher Ground Roasters (@hgroasters), and Stumptown Roasters (@stumptowncoffee).
Further, we have updated our quality inspection system to ensure every single bean with our name on it represents our commitment to serving you the best coffee ever made.
